Is AIScamGuard affiliated with any bank or government?
No. We are completely independent. NOT affiliated with any bank, RBI, NPCI, UPI provider, government agency, or law enforcement. We're a private platform that provides educational tools to help you protect yourself.
I was scammed. Can AIScamGuard recover my money?
No. Call 1930 immediately — that's the National Cybercrime Helpline. Only banks, police, and cybercrime authorities can recover funds. AIScamGuard helps you report correctly through official channels to maximize recovery chances.
Is AIScamGuard safe? What about my data?
Yes, completely safe. We use HTTPS encryption for all communication. We don't store your UPI PIN, passwords, or sensitive data. For premium users, all data is encrypted at rest. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking through Cashfree Payments — India's most trusted gateway. Your card details never reach us; Cashfree handles all payment data securely.
Do you have a mobile app?
Currently, AIScamGuard works on all devices through the website (aiscamguard.io). Android and iOS apps are in development — check back in Q3 2026 for app launches.
How do I contact support?

Is there a warranty on your products?
No product is 100% guaranteed. Our AI detector is ~70-85% accurate; guides provide best-practice steps but don't guarantee recovery. All products sold "as-is" without warranty. See our Terms & Conditions.

How does the free scam detector work?
Paste any suspicious message or text into aiscamguard.io/protect. Our AI analyzes it against 55+ known scam patterns and returns a risk score (0-100) with an explanation of detected red flags. Takes 2-3 seconds.
What types of scams can the detector find?
Digital arrest • Fake KYC • QR code fraud • WhatsApp video call blackmail • UPI payment fraud • Fake job offers • Investment scams • Bank impersonation • Fake loan offers • Cryptocurrency scams • And 45+ other patterns.
Is the detector 100% accurate?
No — ~70-85% accurate. New scams may not be detected. Legitimate messages might be flagged. Always verify with official sources (your bank, 1930, cybercrime.gov.in) before taking action. Use it as a guide, not the final decision.
What's the "1 check per 30 days" limit on free detector?
Free users get 1 scam analysis every 30 days to prevent abuse and keep the service available for everyone. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited checks (₹999 lifetime or ₹299-₹999/month).
Do you save my messages from the free detector?
No. Free detector messages are analyzed in real-time but not permanently stored. Premium users' check history is stored encrypted in your account dashboard.
Can I analyze images or links with the detector?
Currently, the detector analyzes text messages. You can paste text descriptions of suspicious content. Image/link analysis is coming in Q3 2026.
How is the AI trained?
Our AI is trained on 55+ verified scam patterns including real-world fraud data, bank fraud databases, and police cybercrime reports. It's continuously updated as new scams emerge.
Can I use the free detector on my phone?
Yes! Works on all devices — phone, tablet, laptop. Just visit aiscamguard.io/protect in your browser. No app download needed.

Can I buy just the printables without the PDF guide?

Will the guide guarantee my money back?
No. Recovery depends on bank policies, investigation success, timing, and external factors. What the guide guarantees: correct steps in correct order = best recovery chances.
What if it's been 1+ hours since the scam?
Never too late. While first hour is critical, reporting to bank, 1930, and cybercrime.gov.in still matters days later. The guide covers what to do at every stage.
Can I share the guide with my family?
Yes! After purchase, share the PDF with family members for personal use. Also share the WhatsApp alert templates inside the guide with your family groups — preparation saves lives.
Can I print the guide or printables?

How is the Emergency Guide different from premium plans?

Why is annual pricing so much cheaper than monthly?
Monthly billing costs us more (payment processing fees, support overhead). Annual upfront payment reduces our costs, so we pass savings to you. Example: ₹8,999/yr = ₹750/mo vs ₹999/mo. Save ₹3,000/year by choosing annual!
Can I switch from Limited to Unlimited plan?
Yes! Contact us with your subscription details. We'll calculate a prorated upgrade price. You won't pay twice — only pay the difference.
What if 25 checks/year isn't enough?
Upgrade to Unlimited plan anytime. Or contact support — we can discuss adding extra check packages for your specific needs.
Are there discounts for organizations or bulk purchases?
Not currently for individuals. Organizations and businesses: contact us (Subject: Bulk Purchase) for volume pricing and custom enterprise deals.
Is the Emergency Guide separate from premium plans?
Yes, completely separate. Guide is one-time purchase (works alone). Premium plans are separate subscriptions. You can buy guide + premium, or just one. They work together perfectly.
Do you offer student or senior citizen discounts?

How do I add family members?
You sign up with your email. From your dashboard, you invite 4 other family members. They receive invitations, create their own logins, and are protected immediately.
Do family members share a login or have separate logins?
Separate logins. Each family member has their own email/password. They can't see each other's passwords. You (the account owner) see a family dashboard overview.
Can I monitor what my family members check?
You can see a summary on the family dashboard (who checked what, risk scores). But each member's detailed analysis is private to them. Respects privacy while giving oversight.
What if a family member leaves or I want to remove them?
Remove anytime from your dashboard. Their access stops immediately. Their historical checks stay in your family records for reference.
Can each family member use different devices?
Yes! One person can use phone, another can use laptop. Each member logs in with their own credentials from any device, anytime.
Can I upgrade from Family Limited to Family Unlimited?
Yes, anytime. Contact us with your subscription details. We calculate a prorated upgrade price — you pay only the difference.
What if I want to add a 6th family member?
Current plan covers max 5 users. Contact us — we can discuss enterprise/custom solutions for larger groups.
Is Family Plan cheaper than buying 5 individual plans?
Way cheaper! 5 × Individual Unlimited (₹8,999/yr) = ₹44,995/yr. Family Unlimited = ₹22,999/yr. You save ₹22,000/year (50% off!).

Billing & Refunds
Is payment secure?
Yes. Payments processed by Cashfree Payments (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — highest security). We never see your card details. Data is encrypted and stored only by Cashfree.
Can I get an invoice for my purchase?
Yes. You receive an order confirmation email with a receipt/invoice after payment. Use this for tax deduction or refund requests.
How do I cancel my monthly subscription?
From your account dashboard, click "Cancel Subscription". Or contact us. Access continues until end of current billing period. Next month's charge is stopped.
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
No refund for current month. Once charged, month is locked. But next billing stops. Exception: if service was unavailable 24+ hours, we issue full refund for that month.
Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?
Currently, no pause option. You can cancel and re-subscribe later. Contact support if you need special arrangement — we're flexible!
What if I'm charged twice by mistake?
We'll refund immediately. Duplicate charges are rare (Cashfree prevents them), but contact support@aiscamguard.io with your receipt. Refund processed within 5-7 business days.
Can I refund the Emergency Guide?
Refunds ONLY if: You didn't receive the guide • You were overcharged due to error • Duplicate payment made. NOT eligible: Changed your mind • Didn't like content • Decided not to use it. Contact us within 7 days if eligible.
How long does a refund take?
Eligible refunds processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation with reference number.
Can I change my billing email?
Yes. Contact support with your current email and new email. We'll update your billing records. All future invoices go to the new email.
Do you offer GST invoices for businesses?
Yes. If you're registering for business use, contact us and we'll provide proper GST invoices with GSTIN.
What if my card is declined?
Try another payment method (UPI, net banking, different card). If decline persists, contact support — we can manually process or offer alternatives.
Can I use international cards?
We accept Visa/Mastercard issued outside India, but card must work with Indian payment processors. Some cards decline due to issuer's fraud rules. Contact Cashfree support if you need help.
Is there a free trial for premium plans?
Not currently. But you can try the free detector unlimited times (1 check per 30 days). Or buy the Emergency Guide (₹399) to test our quality before committing to premium.
Can I gift a premium plan to someone?
Great idea! Currently, plans are tied to individual emails. Contact us if you want to gift someone — we can arrange this.
